SPEAKERS
Chad Blair is the politics editor for Civil Beat and has been a writer, editor, and teacher in Honolulu for more than 25 years. His job as reporter and editor is to cover Hawaii, especially how political decisions impact people and communities. Chad has worked as a journalist for Pacific Business News, Hawaii Public Radio and Honolulu Weekly.

Monica Gould is currently assigned as the elder justice coordinator and a member of the white collar squad for the FBI’s Honolulu Field Office. She graduated from The Catholic University of America with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentration in Accounting and from The University of Notre Dame with a Master of Business Administration concentration in Corporate Finance.

Steven Houle is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Advisory Service and setting its long-term strategic direction. He also works directly with credit unions to assist them with their strategic financial and investment management endeavors. He joined the Catalyst Strategic Solutions team in 2006.

Cheryl Lawson joined ADVANTAGE Powered by JMFA in 2001, rising quickly from consultant to engagement manager to executive vice president of implementation. Today she serves as EVP of Compliance Review for overdraft privilege, ensuring the fulfillment of all regulatory requirements.
Her responsibilities also include high-level sales support and administration for financial institutions. |
Casey Peterson is Senior Advisor at Catalyst Strategic Solutions and works with client credit unions to meet their goals in the areas of comprehensive financial management, ALM analysis, investment portfolio analysis and strategic planning. Prior to joining Catalyst Strategic Solutions in 2000, Casey spent 10 years managing asset/liability initiatives and investment portfolios for community banks and a commercial bank holding company.

Mike Schenk has 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. In 1992 he joined the largest and most influential national trade association advocating for U.S. credit unions. There are more than 4,500 credit unions nationwide, with over 140 million memberships and over $2.2 trillion in total assets. Mike serves as chief economist for America’s Credit Unions. He conducts economic research and supports the organization’s public relations and advocacy efforts.

Terence Tang is Vice President, Strategy at Intech Hawaii with 25 years in IT and Cybersecurity, He has seen and done it all when it comes to IT and Cybersecurity. Starting out as a network engineer in the hustle and bustle of New York City, Terence worked with a variety of financial services firms, including hedge funds, registered investment advisors, private equity, broker-dealers, and credit unions such as Bethpage and Teachers Federal.
