Kirk Caldwell was born in Waipahu and raised in Hilo and is the oldest son of a country plantation doctor and a fearless, outgoing mother. Kirk was Managing Partner at the Ashford and Wriston law firm and began his political career in 2002, when he was elected to the State House of Representatives where he quickly rose to become the House Majority Leader. He served as Managing Director of Honolulu in 2009, and as Acting Mayor in 2010. He was elected Mayor of Honolulu in 2012 and served two terms.

Gordon Holzberg currently serves as Legislative Advocacy Director for America’s Credit Unions (ACU). Prior to joining ACU, Gordon served as Legislative Director for Reps. Alma Adams (D-NC) and then Emilia Sykes (D-OH), where he specialized in drafting, introducing, and advancing bipartisan legislation – including laws that secured $8 billion in funding for affordable housing construction and $150 million for infrastructure investments in HBCUs. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016

As the financial world evolved—from paper currency to credit cards to digital data—so did the agency’s mission. Today, agents and specialists around the world investigate 21st-century financial crimes, from counterfeiting and credit card fraud to wire fraud, ransomware, and cyberattacks that threaten the integrity of the U.S. financial system.

​​As a financial solutions consultant, Diana Kern demonstrates a vast knowledge of the payments industry. She understands the inner workings of financial institutions and helps staff comprehend the products and services related to the card payments system, the ACH network, instant payments and EFT compliance.
 
Clients appreciate how Diana can help them connect detailed operations concepts like fraud mitigation, exceptions handling, interchange and ROI to their day-to-day responsibilities. She explains seemingly complicated things in a simple, relatable way, helping listeners understand what it means to them.

​Alex Friedl is a Brokerage & Cyber Liability Client Executive for M3 Insurance. Alex grew up in Middleton Wisconsin and graduated from UW Madison with a bachelor’s degree in history and economics. Alex has over six years of experience broking cyber liability insurance for financial institutions, manufacturing companies, senior living companies, and other industry verticals.

​Chris Harline is the Senior Director of Solution Engineering at Eltropy. A seasoned technology leader, Chris brings a unique depth of knowledge to the Credit Union space, drawing from a diverse background that includes Business Intelligence, Security, Goldman Sachs, and Member Experience. During his time at Eltropy, Chris has personally met with over 1,000 credit unions, making him an authority on enhancing operational efficiency and driving business success through technology. Prior to Eltropy, he led sales engineering for global brands including Qualtrics and Domo.
