The Hawaii Island credit union set a fundraising goal of $1,655, which was $1 per member at the time the goal was set.
“Between the generosity of our members and Board of Directors Onomea Federal Credit Union is proud to say we reached our goal of raising $1,655,” Ononmea FCU CEO David Morgan reported.
Originally chartered in 1939 to serve sugar plantation workers, Onomea FCU has evolved into a full-service financial cooperative for residents of Hawaii County.
Onomea FCU Member Services Representative Rheychel Harbottle designed a fundraising wall using the Miracle Balloon theme.
