International Credit Union Week in Hawaii

Hawaii's credit unions celebrated with everything from bake sales to flu shots to mark International Credit Union Week.

Hawaii Law Enforcement FCU kept members well fed at their Main, Kapolei, and Pearl City
branches with free Mitsu-Ken Mini Bentos —YUM!

 HOCU offered a variety of local snacks at their five branches, including shave ice, crack seed, Maui Onion chips, and macadamia nut candies.

OTS Employees CU wished members a Happy International Credit Union day with snacks and a prize drawing.

Hotel & Travel Industry FCU offered their famous Plinko game for members to win prizes plus snacks and pocket calendars


Valley Isle Community FCU’s four branches offered a variety of snacks, refreshments and a chance to enter their Member Drawing for some amazing prizes!

Maui FCU welcomed Susan Hochsprung, CUNA Mutual Group’s Vice President of Sales and Dennis Tanimoto, President and CEO of the Hawai’i Credit Union League her with Maui FCU CEO Clayton Fuchigami. Maui County FCU gave out popcorn and flu shots and daily drawings for a $50 gift card all week long! Kauai credit unions celebrated together at Smith's Tropical Paradise.

Kauai Government EFCU welcomed Kauai Police Department officers who taught staff about actions to take in an active shooter threat. The credit union also hosted flu shots for members.

Lihue Pharmacy set up shop during International Credit Union Week and giving out flu shots to our members.

Garden Island FCU staff dressed the part for ICU Day. 





















Hawaii Community FCU held its annual Market Days fundraiser during International Credit Union Week at all branches. Funds raised benefit HOPE Services Hawaii, Inc.


Final CUHawaii

CU Hawaii FCU’s KTA Branch got a special visit on International Credit Union Day from Miss Hawaii Elementary America 2020, Aspen Taylor Hanohano. She volunteered her time to help promote the credit union’s Food Drive. Donation stations will remain at all CU Hawaii FCU branches till the end of October.
