It is with great sadness that Hawaii Credit Union League says a final Aloha to Scot Tsuchiyama of Lihue, Kauai. Scot passed away on August 2, 2019, at Straub Clinic on Oahu. He was 58 years old.
Hawaii Central FCU and its members donated over 1,400 pounds of pet supplies (worth about $1,300) and a $250 check to Oahu SPCA as a part of their quarterly community outreach efforts. The contribution will provide several months’ worth of essential supplies for rescued animals
CU Hawaii FCU held its employee conference on August 24. This was the credit union’s second conference for 2019 and had 87 employees in attendance. During the conference, employees tasked with completing a team-building project. This time, the completed project took a heartwarming turn and brightened the lives of underprivileged kids in the community.
