Frontline is a critical component of your credit union. Being frontline staff means more than taking deposits and cashing checks. Frontline staff need to know security procedures, current regulations, and how laws apply to different types of accounts. Frontline staff must identify currency by portraits and trace the flow of checks and share drafts. Frontline staff should identify members' needs and offer solutions through credit union products and services. In addition to all of this, many frontline staff must balance the drawer to perfection every day. No other position in the credit union measures perfection daily like the teller or anyone who has to handle cash, a critical component of the credit union.
