Michele L. Barlow, AAP, APRP, NCP, Macha-Everything Payments, Everywhere
Michele is a Senior Vice President at Macha/PAR, a payments association with offices in Maryland and Wisconsin. At Macha she is responsible for the development and execution of association training and certification programs, conference and event planning, and member service. She is a member of The Payments Institute’s Board of Regents, the APRP Oversight Panel, the AFPP Oversight Panel, is active on other national committees, and a frequent speaker at industry events. |
Carl Bonham was a founding member of UHERO in 1997 and currently serves as UHERO’s Executive Director and Professor of Economics. His research interests include macroeconomics, applied econometrics and forecasting, tourism economics, and the Hawai`i economy. Carl's current research focuses on mixed frequency models for nowcasting inputs for UHERO’s quarterly Hawaii Forecasting System. He is a member of the State of Hawaii Council on Revenues, and the House Select Committee on Covid-19 Economic and Financial Preparedness.

Diana Dykstra is a dynamic chief executive with more than 40 years of experience in leading top organizations in the financial services industry. She is currently the President/CEO of the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues. Diana, a certified International Credit Union Development Educator, is a 1992 graduate and current President of Western CUNA Management School. She was awarded the James D. Likens Alumni Recognition Award in 2001, the California League’s Distinguished Service Award in 2002, the Phil Greer Lifetime Achievement Award from the CUNA Lending Council in 2012, the American Association of Credit Union Leagues’ highest honor—the Eagle Award—in 2014, and most recently The National Credit Union Foundation’s 2019 Herb Wegner Memorial Award Winner.

Cherie Freed is the Regional Director of the NCUA’s Western Region, located in Tempe, Arizona. As Regional Director, she oversees the examination and supervision of federally insured credit unions in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Prior to being selected as Regional Director in 2016, Cherie served as the Associate Regional Director for the region. She also previously served as the Director of Supervision and as the Loss-risk Analysis Officer in the NCUA’s Office of Examination and Insurance.
Mary Gilmeister is President of Macha, an Accredited ACH Professional, and a National Check Professional. She has been President of WACHA/Macha for 28 years and is also President of Payment Advisory Resource, a subsidiary of MACHA. Mary has served on NACHA's Marketing Committee and Board of Directors, chaired a Nation Wide Direct Deposit Campaign in 1998, and participated on the Federal Debit Collection Improvement Act of 1996. She is actively working with the CFPB in establishing networks and speaking on Financial Elder Abuse. Mary also speaks nationally at the NACHA conference, and other conferences nationwide.

Amy Wargo has spent almost three decades working with financial institutions to solve their compliance and operational challenges. She is the Director of Risk Management for the CU Risk Intelligence division of League InfoSight and supports leagues in providing affordable high quality compliance solutions to their client credit unions. She is an experienced facilitator, compliance expert, auditor, and risk manager. As a compliance expert in the credit union industry, she routinely speaks on industry challenges, hot topics/trends and reconciling examination/compliance deficiencies. Her ability to communicate mobilizes audiences of all ages, from young professionals to seasoned board members.
